Tut
earned his Canadian Championship at
9 months of age with 4 Best of Breeds
& Best Puppy In Breed. He finished
his Championship on Sunday and on
Monday he was in field training doing
his other favorite thing....hunting.
The
following weekend he ran in his first
two hunt trials and qualified both
days and the next week he ran in his
third trial and again qualified. Then
it was back home to grow up some more
and wait for the spring trials.
Tut
finished his American Championship
with 3 majors.
Due
to an unfortunate hunting accident
where he badly injured an eye his
showing towards his American Grand
Championship was put on hold for
6 months while he recovered. Though
he was left with a very small amount
of cloudiness, his eye sight has
returned and he is doing very well
in the breed ring and he has earned
his American Grand Championship
and his Canadian Rally Novice title
at the age of 8 1/2. In Rally he
won 1st place with 99 points out
of 100, 2nd place with 93 points
and 3rd place with 96 points. Tut
has earned his BBB (Beauty, Brains
& Birdsense) award from the
Gordon Setter Club of America at
the age of 9 years. He is currently
working on his Rally Advance title
in the U.S. and only needs one more
qualifying score to earn this title.
Tut has twice won Best Veteran Dog
at Regional Specialties and still
enjoys strutting his stuff in the
Breed Ring and of course laying
in the stock tanks to cool off.
